When a wholesale buyer places an order for 500 car covers, they are not just buying a product. They are trusting a manufacturer to maintain consistent quality across every single unit — from the raw fabric roll on day one to the packaged cover that arrives at a retail warehouse weeks later. At Easepal, that trust is not assumed. It is engineered into every step of our production process.

The Foundation: 25+ Years of Manufacturing Experience

Easepal was founded in 1999 in Fujian, China. For more than 25 years, we have built and refined a manufacturing operation focused on protective covers and related automotive, marine, outdoor, and powersports accessories. Today, Easepal operates a network of manufacturing facilities with a combined production area of approximately 65,000 m². Our product categories include automotive covers, marine covers, RV covers, motorcycle and powersports covers, outdoor furniture covers, boat seats, Bimini tops, and other protective accessories.

For B2B buyers, the objective is not simply to find a factory that can produce a sample. The real challenge is finding a manufacturer capable of reproducing the same specifications consistently across large-volume orders. That is where our production and quality-control system comes in.

Step 1: Material Sourcing — 146 Qualified Suppliers, Zero Guesswork

The quality of a car cover starts with the quality of its raw materials. Easepal works with a network of 146 qualified suppliers for fabrics, EVA foam, non-woven materials, hardware, packaging components, and other production inputs. Every supplier is evaluated against our internal sourcing standards, and new suppliers undergo a qualification process before materials enter regular production.

For key inputs — particularly the materials used in multi-layer and weather-protection covers — we maintain multiple approved supplier relationships to help ensure supply continuity and stable quality. Material traceability is also built into our production system: raw material batches are recorded at intake, enabling backward traceability when a quality issue needs to be investigated.

In-House Non-Woven Production

Easepal has invested in its own non-woven production workshop, established in 2021. This gives us greater control over an important material used in protective-cover construction, strengthening vertical manufacturing capabilities and improving control over materials, production planning, and product quality.

Step 2: Production — 8 Lines, 90 Machines, One Standard

Our manufacturing network operates 8 active production lines equipped with 90 dedicated production machines. Across our facilities, different production capabilities support automotive, marine, RV, powersports, and outdoor protective covers. The production process for a multi-layer car cover involves several distinct stages:

  • Fabric Cutting: Computer-guided cutting systems and production templates maintain dimensional accuracy across production runs.
  • Layer Bonding: EVA foam and other material layers are bonded to outer and inner fabrics under controlled production conditions.
  • Stitching & Seaming: Cut panels are assembled with reinforced stitching at stress points including panel edges, corners, seams, and strap attachment points.
  • Hardware Installation: Buckles, straps, Velcro tabs, vents, and other components are checked for correct positioning and secure attachment.
  • Surface Treatment: UV-resistant coatings, reflective elements, or other surface treatments are applied where specified.
  • Final Assembly: The finished cover is checked against required specifications before packaging.

For OEM and custom orders, production can be carried out according to buyer-provided specifications, product requirements, branding, packaging, and other agreed details. Annual production capacity exceeds 1,000,000 units/sets per year.

Step 3: Quality Control — 6 Specialists, Three-Stage Inspection

Production capacity is only meaningful when quality can be maintained at scale. Easepal has 6 dedicated QA/QC specialists supporting quality management throughout the manufacturing process. Quality inspection is not treated as a final checkpoint — instead, quality control runs throughout production.

Incoming Material Inspection

Raw materials are inspected before entering production to verify dimensional accuracy, weight, tensile strength, color consistency, and other relevant properties. Non-conforming materials are not released for normal production.

In-Process Quality Checks

QC inspectors conduct routine checks during cutting, bonding, stitching, and hardware installation. Problems are addressed before the product moves to the next stage, reducing the risk of batch-level issues.

Final Product Inspection

Completed covers are inspected against product specifications and order requirements. Final inspection can include full inspection, random sampling, or buyer-specified acceptance criteria.

For OEM and custom orders, Easepal can also support buyer-directed inspection protocols and third-party inspection services. Inspection records are documented to provide greater transparency and traceability for B2B buyers.

Step 4: R&D — 20 Engineers, 10+ Years of OEM Development

Quality control preserves the standard. Research and development raises it. Easepal's R&D team consists of 20 engineers with more than 10 years of OEM product development experience across our product categories. This in-house capability allows us to work directly with brand buyers and distributors to develop customized product specifications.

  • New materials and fabric technologies
  • New vehicle fitments and sizing
  • Product structure improvements
  • Customized specifications
  • New protective-cover categories
  • OEM and private-label development

In the past year alone, our R&D team has delivered 194 new products to market. This ongoing development capability helps Easepal respond to changing vehicle models, customer requirements, materials, and market trends.

Step 5: OEM & ODM — From Product Specifications to Production

For many B2B buyers, manufacturing quality is only one part of supplier selection. The ability to turn a product specification into a repeatable production process is equally important. Easepal provides OEM and ODM manufacturing services for brands, distributors, retailers, and wholesale buyers.

Service AreaWhat We Support
Product SpecificationsMaterials, construction, dimensions, and fit
BrandingLogo placement, custom packaging, private-label products
DevelopmentNew product development from concept to mass production
VolumeLarge-volume production with consistent quality

Our R&D and manufacturing teams work together to move projects from product concept and sampling into mass production. This integrated approach helps buyers reduce unnecessary communication gaps between product development, engineering, sourcing, production, and quality control.

Step 6: Third-Party Verification — Verified by Intertek

Easepal is an Alibaba.com Verified Supplier, with our facility independently audited and verified by Intertek (Tianxiang Group). Our Verified Supplier status has been maintained continuously for 10 years.

Third-party verification gives international buyers an additional way to evaluate a potential manufacturing partner. The verification process provides an independent assessment of manufacturing facilities, production capabilities, quality-management systems, and business practices — additional confidence beyond a supplier's own claims.

Step 7: U.S. Warehousing — Manufacturing Doesn't End at the Factory

For North American buyers, Easepal's supply-chain capabilities extend beyond China-based manufacturing. We maintain two U.S.-based warehouses in Beloit, Wisconsin, and Ontario, California, stocking more than 1,500 SKUs to support domestic inventory and distribution.

  • Shorter lead times for seasonal replenishment
  • Faster fulfillment for selected products
  • Reduced dependence on ocean freight for every replenishment order
  • Lower inventory risk for market testing
  • Faster response to urgent retail and e-commerce requirements

The combination of China-based manufacturing and U.S.-based inventory gives B2B buyers greater flexibility when managing their supply chains. For seasonal products such as car covers, RV covers, boat covers, and other weather-protection products, this flexibility can be particularly valuable.

What B2B Buyers Should Look for in a Protective Cover Manufacturer

When evaluating a protective-cover manufacturer, unit price should not be the only factor. A reliable manufacturing partner should also be evaluated across several dimensions:

  • Material Control: Can the manufacturer maintain consistent material specifications across production batches?
  • Production Capacity: Does the supplier have enough production resources to support both regular orders and large-volume seasonal demand?
  • Quality Control: Are quality checks performed throughout the production process rather than only at the end?
  • R&D Capability: Can the manufacturer develop new products or modify existing products according to market requirements?
  • OEM/ODM Support: Can the supplier support private-label products, customized specifications, branding, and packaging?
  • Supply-Chain Stability: Does the supplier have the manufacturing and distribution infrastructure required to support long-term orders?
  • Third-Party Verification: Has the supplier's manufacturing capability been independently audited or verified?

These factors can directly affect product consistency, sourcing risk, lead times, inventory planning, and the overall cost of working with an overseas manufacturing partner.

Why Manufacturing Transparency Matters

For a B2B buyer, choosing a supplier is ultimately a decision about trust. A product sample can demonstrate what a manufacturer can produce once. A manufacturing system demonstrates how consistently that quality can be reproduced across hundreds or thousands of units.

That is why Easepal's approach to manufacturing goes beyond final product inspection. From 146 qualified material suppliers and in-house non-woven production to 8 production lines, 90 machines, 6 QA/QC specialists, 20 R&D engineers, and more than 1 million units of annual production capacity, each part of the manufacturing system contributes to consistent product quality.

Combined with more than 25 years of manufacturing experience, OEM/ODM development capabilities, third-party verification, and U.S.-based warehousing, this gives international buyers a sourcing partner capable of supporting the process from product development through market delivery.
